When using the Arbour Lake Amenities, presentation of a Membership Card is mandatory to gain access to the lake and lake facilities. Members should carry their membership cards at all times and be prepared to present them for inspection upon request by a member of the Residents Association staff or a Security Guard. Any member 11 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a responsible person of 12 years of age or older.
Homeowners choosing to rent their Arbour Lake property will be required to choose between retaining their lake access or relinquishing it to their tenants. Access for both the homeowners and tenants is not permitted. As a homeowner if you choose to relinquish your lake access to your tenants you must submit a Renters Access form which is posted on the website, www.arbourlake.com.
Membership Cards remain the property of the Residents Association which may require such cards to be returned if the holder of the card breaches the Rules and Regulations.
Members are permitted a maximum of five (5) guests per household per day. Members who are under the age of 16 years are permitted a maximum of two (2) guests at any one time. No Arbour Lake Resident may be considered a guest.

Restrictions
FISHING ACTIVITIES WILL NOT BE SUPERVISED!
Arbour Lake is a private facility and therefore holds a valid fishing license for all members. Fishing privileges on Arbour Lake are restricted to Members and their guests provided the Member is present. All fish kept by a guest of a Member will be counted as part of that Member’s daily and monthly limit.
There will be a one month suspension from fishing if:
In order to properly control and maintain the fish population in the lake, the Residents Association reserves the right, from time to time and without notice, to suspend fishing rights in the lake for a period of time as the Residents Association, in its sole discretion, deems necessary or prudent.
Swimming
SWIMMING AREA IS NOT SUPERVISED!
It is recommended that small children be restricted to the marked swimming area. All persons under the age of 18 SHOULD WEAR a Coast Guard Approved floatation device outside of the designated swim area. A floatation device refers to any OBJECT whether inflatable or not that has the ability to assist or keep a person afloat in the water.
Safety Tips
• If you bring children to swim, please watch them at all times.
• We highly recommend children wear a PFD at all times.
• Children must remain in the buoyed swim area.
• Swim aids and toys must remain in the swim area.
• Swimming with a buddy is safer and way more fun.
• No diving.
• No swimming from the boat docks, except for residents who have their own docks.
• No swimming during lightning storms.
• No swimming after dark.
The use of all docks giving access to the lake (including docks giving access to the lake from lake shore lots) shall be subject to such rules and regulations as may be enacted from time to time by the ALRA.
The use of any dock giving access to the lake from a particular lake shore lot shall (except in the case of an emergency) be restricted to the owners of that particular lake shore lot and their families, tenants and guests.
The Lake Access Walkways are intended for the sole use of the homeowners of the Lake Access Lots which are immediately adjacent to such Walkways, and the families and guests of such homeowners.
There is a gas powered fire pit located on the patio overlooking the lake. Please ask a staff member if at any time if you would like the fire lit. The fire pit is not “exclusive” and is available for everyone’s enjoyment but is available for reservations.
Maintaining and improving on first class amenities requires a strong revenue base, hence annual fees. Every lot in Arbour Lake has a legal "Encumbrance" registered against the Certificate of Land Title that legally requires the owner to pay a yearly Residents Association Fee. The ALRA collects this fee in January to fund all operations for the upcoming year. The Annual Fee goes towards daily lake operations, staffing the Association, the upkeep of all stone arbours, subsidizing other amenities provided for members.
It is a requirement that every homeowner submit a copy of their Certificate of Land Title to the Association upon registering.
Fees are due January 1 of every year.
